I'm looking forward to testing it out. Do you know if Highwinds supports header compression? There's not really much of a way to get hold of them as they seem to be very distanced from end-users and primarily interested in outsourcing NNTP servers for ISPs, so I though it would be easier just to try it out with a client.
If it doesn't work I could always request support through my ISP. |
I have no idea, but you'll be able to try and send the mode command by enabling it in the server screen. If the server doesn't recognize the command, you'll see the server's response in the comm log. Normal XOVER occurs if that happens.

| Any ideas when we might see a beta with header compression? |

Soon. I've been running this every night since my last post. Hopefully, I'll try to put out a beta later this week.

I forgot to thank to you this feature...Fantastic work!
I have been to use it since one month or so, and it's working really fine.
