The logs are automatically pruned by NMP. Only the last 12 hours are kept to prevent them from getting too big.

I shut NewsmanPro down, then restarted it. Will that give me 6:53 as the starting point for the log pruning?

The logs are pruned by the scheduled task thread, so the last 12 hours are kept. They are pruned every 5 minutes while NMP is running.

I've added a date check when new headers are downloaded to discard any header older than 24 hours prior to the newest header retrieved the last time headers were retrieved for the current newsgroup. At least this will prevent the headers from getting stored. This is in the next beta.
