Disable system beep in Message View

I like to use keyboard shortcuts in the message view when I'm reading news (ie, N for next unread message, etc).

Every time I hit such a keyboard shortcut Newsman beeps. I've typically resorted to muting my speakers when reading news but this seems like a silly workaround.

Is there something I'm missing to disable this beep? I can't seem to find anything. I also can't find any mention of it anywhere else so maybe it just bothers me personally and no one else!

This is Windows just trying to be helpful. The message pane is a read-only window and Windows is telling you that your key press is not valid. I've modified the key press handlers for the message pane to discard the last key press after performing whatever function was tied to the shortcut key that was pressed. This will block the Windows "ding!".

This will be included in the next beta release.
