When I log in I usually start with "View posts since last visit".
But sometimes I leave before I read all these posts and the next time the list is refreshed and shorter.
What I miss is a function that acts like "View posts since %date%", where the user submits the date.

I think it would be great. If you go to www.phpbb.com you can post your suggestions there. To be honest, though, they are pretty slow to implement new features as they've been working on version 3.0 of the forum software.
