I don't know how I did it but I lost the File - Edit - View - Tools - Help menu bar at the top of NMP. I had been having some problems connecting to Newhosting but my newsreader was locking up or just running slowly. I had terminated NMP several times using the Windows Task Manager but then the last time I managed to close NMP successfully using File - Exit. When I reopened NMP I noticed the menu bar was gone.
Any thoughts on restoring it will be greatly appreciated.

If you don't find it on any other menu dock (queue, connections, etc...) then it is likely hidden behind the bandwidth meter or Layout bar. Move those around. Unlike the tool windows, the menu bar cannot be closed, so it is there somewhere.
As a last resort, you can look in your NMP.INI file:
Look for [MainTBXMainMenu] in NMP.INI and you can see which dock it is docked to. Delete the entire section and NMP will restore it to its original location.
Thanks for the tip. I found that I had detached the menu bar entirely from NMP and it was hiding at the very topmost left edge of my windows screen. The only part I could see was a square below Help and then only when NMP was the active window. I only noticed it when I moved NMP away from the corner. Double-clicking on the square brought up the Help options. I managed to get my cursor to the left of the spot that brought up the Help options and double-clicked again. This snapped the menu bar back in place. I have no idea how I separated the menu bar from NMP in the first place.
