tired of repetetive tasks?
this amazing (free and open source) software is one of those tools i find it hard to imagine how i could do without.
http://www.autohotkey.com/
it is amazingly powerful and free in its structure. it helps, though, if you have some basic programming background.
on the other hand, they have a highly frequented forum with very competent people and the main developer is always available in the forum. people share their scripts there etc.

| AutoIt is *the bomb*! I have used it for several network and client management tasks. As an example, I created a dialog that would allow a non-administrator to change his local IP based on where they were currently using their computer. It was fun and about ten lines of code (or so). Ha! The network admin triumphs yet again as this customer has no reason for admin rights on their local machine. *smile* |
