Settings - Default Folders

Newsman will save message attachments to the folders defined here by default. You can override these folders on a per Workgroup basis, or you can override them while Queueing article for download by using the Queue Wizard.

Other Folders

Temp Folder - Attachments that have not been saved, but are launched from within Newsman are written to this location. This folder is emptied automatically whenever you shutdown the program.

Bodies Folder - This location tells Newsman where to store bodies when the "Use File System" option is enabled.

Headers Folder - When retrieving headers, Newsman batches them together to speed up the process of storing them in the database. This folder location is used to store the temporary batches.

Batch Import Path - The folder Newsman Pro should use for the batch files used when processing headers.

Global descript.ion - By default, descript.ion files are saved in the same folder as the attachments. If you want to use a single, global descript.ion file, enter the location where you want this file to be stored.
