Settings - Fonts and Colors

Newsman gives you the ability to customize many of the views available in the main interface.

Character Set - specifies which character set Newsman should use when displaying text in the views.




Navigator - The Navigator, Queue, Servers and Workgroups view can be customized using the dialog provided. Note that each of these views can be customized individually. Click on the color box to bring up the color editor.

• Text - The font to use to display text.
• Selected Text - The colors used to highlight selected items in each view.

Message List
The message list has many different color options that are used to represent various states. The message list background and font is determined by the top-most setting.

• Do not use BOLD font for Unread messages - By default, Newsman displays unread messages in bold. You can disable this using this option.
• Do not use ITALICS for Thread Containers - If a message is a reply to another message that you do not have, Newsman creates a dummy Thread Container to ensure that thread references are in their correct sequence. By default, these are shown in italics.

Newsman Pro supports four different quote color levels.
