Prompt for sort order when loading messages - Prompts you for how you want the message list sorted whenever you load messages into the message list.

Display message limiter when there are more than... - Newsman will ask you how many message to load if there are more than the number you enter here.

Show icon for Complete multi-part messages - By default, there is no icon shown for complete messages other than the complete/incomplete status indicator. If you want to display an icon to indicate a complete multi-part message, enable this option.

Show mouse hints in message list - By default, Newsman Pro will display a hint for data displayed in whatever column the mouse is over in the message list. These hints are useful when all of the text in a column cannot be displayed because the column width is too small. They alse display useful information about the status of the header under the mouse. You can disable this feature if you don't want these hints displayed.

Show message Age instead of Date Posted - Replaces the Date column in the message list with an Age column showing the number of days since the message was posted. This is useful if you are familiar with the retention of the group on your news server.

Group related articles - Multi-part binaries are automatically shown as single-line entries in Newsman Pro. You can go one step further and show all posts that belong together as a single, collapsed line in the message list.

Grouping Threshold - This number determines how closely article must be related before they are grouped together. The higher the value, the closer the articles must be in similarity before they will be grouped. Note that articles must be posted by the same individual in order to be grouped no matter how low this setting is.

Skip Grouping when parsing/storing new headers - If you choose not to use article grouping, enabling this option will save some processing time when storing new headers.

Use web forum-style sorting when sorting by Thread - Sorts threads with new replies at the top.

Use all characters when sorting by Subject - By default, Newsman Pro ignores any left-most non-alpha characters when sorting. Enable this option to override this behavior.

Par2 Volume Handling - Specify what Newsman Pro should do with Par2 volumes when messages are Queued by an automatic process, or when an entire article group is Queued.

Bind middle-mouse button to "single-key read" - Enabling this option triggers the "single-key read" feature when the middle-mouse button is clicked.

Skip "single-key read" confirmations - Allows you to automatically bypass the confirmation dialogs when using the "single-key read" feature.

Automatically download messages when viewing - If you view a message in the message pane and it has not already been downloaded, Newsman will automatically retrieve it if this option is enabled.

Show headers in message - When enabled, NNTP message headers will be displayed in the message pane along with the message body.
